I wrote this as a wrap-up for a conference where the primary text was the book of Jonah. (Actually, the play “Jonah” was also written for that conference.)

This is a good example of a weave – it’s more than one perspective or story woven into a single piece of art. It’s aggregate communication, more impressionistic than linear. It’s also a good example of a kind of thing I create in custom form for churches, organizations, events, and individuals based on particular Bible stories or special life stories.

Every time I read over this piece, I am reminded, God is not afraid.
